Premier League Week 15 Match Predictions

December 8, 2018

Premier League Game Week 15 Preview

Brighton v Crystal Palace

A really crucial game for The Eagles this one. Roy Hodgson has brought himself some valuable breathing space with their win over Burnley, they will be looking to do more of the same as they face Brighton at The Amex. The Seagulls though, are a pretty daunting prospect at home and will want points on the board to maintain their mid-table status.Prediction – 1-1

Everton v Newcastle

After their last minute derby defeat at Anfield, Everton must really try to take the positives from an excellent performance.  They have the form and quality to beat Newcastle, but the Magpies will also be eyeing a return to picking up points after a woeful home defeat to West Ham.  They will have to be step it up significantly thought to get anything at Goodison. Prediction – 2-0

Wolves v Chelsea

The honeymoon period is well and truly over for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men.  They have lost four of their last five and really need some points on the board.  Chelsea responded well to their first defeat of the season by beating Fulham in a text book three points at Stamford Bridge.  They should dominate proceedings in The Black Country, however Wolves are no pushovers at home and will be looking for some points after a poor run. Prediction 1-1

Manchester United v Arsenal

This fixture seems to have lost its sheen over the past few years, with both sides falling down the pecking order in the Premier League.  Arsenal will be confident given their unbeaten run stretching for eighteen games, however they must be wary of Mourinho’s men.  The United boss is arguably at his best when backed into a corner and often comes out with a statement performance in these kinds of games.  Their leaky defence will be an issue though, with the Arsenal’s forwards liking their lips at the pickings on offer at Old Trafford these days. Prediction 2-2

Tottenham v Southampton

Spurs went from high to low, after their best performance of the season to date against Chelsea, they were well and truly thumped by Arsenal at The Emirates. They will need to bounce back and fast, with a winnable fixture against a nervous looking Southampton. The Saints are okay going forward but look very shaky at the back and will likely feel the heat against their former manager on Wednesday night. Prediction 3-0
