Thanksgiving Day
Bills @ Lions
This game could come down to one of two things: 1. Are we going to see the Josh Allen that was in a slump for a couple of games or the one that showed up in week 11 against the Browns? If it’s the latter then this could be an extremely high-scoring game for one that has a tremendous amount of running in it. If it’s the latter then this game could be a dud. Our Pick: Bills
Giants @ Cowboys
With the Cowboys statistically having the 29th-best running game in the league and the Giants with Saquon Barkley, it could be a long day for Dallas if they don’t make the Giants one-dimensional. Just like with any other game it’s gonna come down to what happens at the line, especially in this one. Our Pick: Cowboys
Broncos @ Panthers
Despite just being traded from the Dolphins, the Broncos running back is already being listed as questionable with an ankle injury as is Denver Jerry Jeudy. The Panthers are also feeling the injury bug as well but at quarterback. Panthers backup Sam Darnold will get another shot against a Broncos defense that is in the top two in total yards, (second), passing yards (first), points (first), and third down percentage (fifth). Our Pick: Broncos
Texans @ Dolphins
After coming off a bye week with the AFC East getting even more competitive in their off week as even the last place New Jets and Patriots are tied at 6-4 (although the Patriots are technically in third place due to them winning 10-3 against the Jets in 11) and the Dolphins being tied with the Bills at 7-3 they will need every win that they can get and the Texans shouldn’t be any exceptions to that. As for the Dolphins as long as both their running and passing games are working in sync with each other there is no reason they should have trouble getting around the Houston defense. As for the Texans if they can control the line of scrimmage and the ball in the hands of Dameon Pierce who is averaging just under 5 yards a carry that could potentially make it interesting. Our Pick: Dolphins
Bears @ Jets
While the Jets are in the top 11 offensively in total yards, passing yards, and rushing yards and points they are coming off a performance in which they did not get in the end zone against the Patriots and it appears New York quarterback Zach Wilson didn’t feel that he was to blame for not leading the offense into the end zone, a reaction which did not sit well with Jets fans. If this is the attitude he takes with him into the Bears game Sunday he could find himself riding the bench. Our Pick: Jets
Bucs @ Browns
In a way this game could be the last test for Jacoby Brissett as to whether or not he is going to remain the starting quarterback for the Browns for the remainder of the season as the quarterback who was initially going to be the team’s starter this year, DeSean Watson is projected to be ready in week 13 and the test will be a tough one as he will be facing a Tampa Bay defense that is seventh in total yards, fifth in passing yards and third in points. As for the Bucs, Leonard Fournette is supposed to be back from his hip injury in week 12 which brings all the major offensive weapons back so with Tom Brady at the helm, if they want they can make it a long day for Cleveland. Our Pick: Browns
Ravens @ Jaguars
The Ravens’ offense is only gonna get that much better now that Tight End Mark Andrews is back and with running back Travis Ettiene running just under six yards a game, that could make it an interesting matchup considering that Jacksonville’s run defense is ranked eighth in the league when it comes to rushing yards at a clip of 110.1 yards per game. Our Pick: Ravens
Chargers @ Cardinals
Going into the previous Monday’s game against the 49ers Kyle Murray was questionable and there is no question it may happen again, especially if he re-aggravates his injury. If Murray is still hurt the starter will be Colt McCoy who has gone 26-37, 238 yards, and a touchdown this season. As for the Chargers if they can get into a rhythm through the air they should be able to make it a long night for the Cardinals who rank 23rd in the league in passing defense while the Chargers rank fifth in passing yards. Our Pick: Chargers
Raiders @ Seahawks
If the Raiders (3-7) were to win this one they could start to make things interesting in this NFC west matchup as they would only be two games behind the first-place Seahawks (6-4). As far as the actual game goes if Oakland’s defense can keep the Seattle passing attack, which is currently ranked fifth in the league in check in terms of yards, they should be able to last till the end. Our Pick: Raiders
Rams @ Chiefs
With one of the Ram’s leading receivers in Kooper Cup out it will be a matter of the next man up in the Los Angeles offense as someone else will have to take the reins as the top wide receiver. As for the Chiefs. If they can make Los Angeles a one-dimensional team, meaning they can only pass that will make it a long day for the Rams. Our Pick: Chiefs
Saints @ 49ers
Both Andy Dalton and Jimmy G are good at preventing turnovers (the two only have 11 interceptions combined, Dalton seven, Jimmy Garrappolo 4) and if that happens in the week 12 matchup it will come down to who can do more with their offense. Our Pick: 49ers
Packers @ Eagles
For the Eagles, this game will be one of those games that will be a true test to see how good they are for any critic who may try to tell them that they had a soft schedule, especially their offense as Green Bay’s defense is ranked ninth in passing yards and fourth in total yards. If the Packers lose this one it could be hard to salvage their season as they are currently at 4-7, third in the NFC North. Our Pick: Eagles
Monday Night Football
Steelers @ Colts
This Monday night matchup is more than likely going to come down to their running game where both Najee Harris and Jonathan Taylor have about four yards a carry, but both teams also are in the top 10 in the NFL when it comes to run defense as the Steelers are sixth at 108 rushing yards a game while the Colts are 10th at 110.7 yards per game on the ground. Our Pick: Steelers
