Thursday Night Football
Eagles @ Texans
This weeks Thursday night game will feature one whose teams who appear to be going in opposite directions. The red hot, undefeated Eagles who statistically has the second best defense in the NFL while the Texans have not come close statistically and in a matter of fact has the 31st best offense in the league could be in for a long day.
Our Pick: Eagles
Chargers @ Falcons
If the Falcons expect to keep this game close they are gonna have to keep the Chargers passing game under control which is statistically the fourth best in the NFL at 279.4 points per game. On offense the Falcons may have to rely on Tyler Allgeier as their other running back Cordarelle Patterson is on injured reserve due to a knee issue, however some seem to think he may come back this week. As for the Chargers they should be able to pick their poison as far as whether they wanted to attack the Falcons with the ground game or threw the air. In addition to having the fourth best aerial attack in the league their running back Austin Ekeler is racking up 84 carries for 380 yards at a clip of just under five yards a game.
Our Pick: Chargers
Dolphins @ Bears
The Dolphins passing game against the Bears secondary could be an interesting matchup as the Dolphins have the third most passing yards in the NFL through the air with 292.5 yards per game while the Bears defense has given up the fifth fewest passing yards per game in the league this year. What’s more likely to happen is that Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert could get many more carries who already has 452 rushing yards for the season. As for the Bears if their defense can keep Miami off the field as much as possible it could be a good game.
Our Pick: Dolphins
Panthers @ Bengals
Right now its a mystery as to whether or not Bengals wide receiver Ja’mar Chase is actually gonna be available. If not then this is a loss that Carolina should be able to capitalize on. As for Carolina, Cincinnati’s defense could be another test for Carolina quarterback PJ walker who has only a started a couple of games for Carolina this season.
Our Pick: Bengals
Vikings @ Commanders
With Vikings running back Dalvin Cook averaging just under five yards a carry he could make it a long day for the Washingon defense, one which is 17th in the league at 118.3 yards per game As for Washington if Taylor Heincke can repeat last weeks performance that could be good enough for yet another win.
Our Pick: Vikings
Seahawks @ Cardinals
This game could be one which could see a lot of running as both teams have quarterbacks than scramble in Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith and Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. One thing to watch for in this one is how often Seattle can stay on the field as they have the fourth best third down conversion rate in the league at 45.6 percent.
Our Pick: Seahawks
Rams @ Bucs
While Tom Brady may be down at least one receiver in Russell Gage who is listed as questionable for the Bucs in this weekends showdown against the Rams, Los Angeles’ defense could be a good test as to whether or not Brady still has it or not. Either way Tampa Bay is desperate for a win as they have lost three straight. As for Los Angeles if they can keep Brady down then they should be able to claw their way back to 500.
Our Pick: Rams
Titans @ Chiefs
While it is a mystery as to who Nashville’s quarterback may be this weekend one thing will be for certain which is that the running game could have a huge impact on this one. With the Titans the key to keeping their offense at bay is to limit the amount of big plays that their running back Derek Henry can get while the Titans defense needs to keep Patrick Mahomes a passing quarterback and take away the run as much as possible.
Our Pick: Titans
Monday Night Football
Ravens @ Saints
Both teams seem to be hit with the injury bug. Baltimore Tight End Mark Andrews is dealing with multiple health issues while Micheal Thomas is still out with a foot injury for the Saints and Mark Ingram has an MCL sprain. It’s highly unlikely that none of these players returns are going to be rushed as their presence will be needed come the end of the season in playoff time assuming that the teams are in the hunt.
Our Pick: Saints
