If the Patriots are gonna stay in the AFC east playoff race and also the race to stay in the playoffs this one could potentially be a must win for them depending on who else wins this weekend. With Bills running back Nyheim Hines temporarily out with sickness and while that normally wouldn’t be a big deal for next week’s game this is a short week for the Bill as they are in the weekly Thursday night matchup. The Patriots are also suffering a similar issue with running back Damien Harris who got injured via a thigh in the game versus the Vikings. As for those who are playing, the Patriots best chance for a win may be a dominant running game and keeping the Buffalo defense at bay. Our Pick: Bills

Titans @ Eagles
This one will more than likely come down to which team can run the team better as running backs from both teams average just under five yards a game (Miles Sanders at 4.85 and Derrick Henry at 4.39).

Packers @ Bears
An interesting matchup this weekend that may not be talked about is Aaron Jones who averages over five yards a game versus the Bears defense who has given up the 29th most rushing yards in the league on offense and could be a major factor in which team wins the time of possession battle. As for the Packers if they can keep the pressure on offensively and win the battle up front they could also win the battle of time of possession. Our Pick: Packers
Jaguars @ Lions
Since neither of these teams get a lot of turnovers (Trevor Lawrence only has six for the season while Jared Goff has seven) it could be a matter as to which defense draws the turnover to win the game.

Browns @ Texans
A week after beating former teammate Tom Brady, Jacoby Brissett has got to be bumbling with confidence, especially considering the Texans defense is last in the league in rushing yards at 178.9 yards per game and 30th in the league in total yards at 401.9 yards per game. As for the Texans, if Dameon Pierce can show his average performance of rushing over four yards per game and Brandin Cooks shows up and shows off his speed they could make it a long day for the Browns defense. Dolphins @ 49ers
While there is no doubt the Miami offense has been dominant this season two big question marks for this Sunday’s contest against the 49ers is gonna be the health of Tyreek Hill and Raheem Mostert. While Mostert is scheduled to come back this Sunday that could always change and as for Hill it’s also likely he could play as he did come back in week 12. If he is available to play there is no doubt he could be an integral part of attacking the San Francisco defense that is ranked 11th in pass defense at 202.8 yards per game.

Seahawks @ Rams
With both Matthew Stafford and Cooper Cupp out because of injury for the Rams they will need to find somebody to step up against a Seahawks defense that is ranked fourth in rushing yards. As for Seattle, if their defense can take advantage of the inexperience of Bryce Perkins they could make it a long day for Los Angeles. Our Pick: Rams
Chargers @ Raiders
If the Raiders want to salvage their season a strong appearance against the Chargers could certainly be a great first step. Both teams are in the top 10 in pass offense with the Chargers at 263.8 yards per game for the eight most offensive yards and the Raiders are tied for ninth at a clip of 235.5 yards per game. Chiefs @ Bengals
Cincinatti’s depth on offense will be tested as Ja’Marr Chase is on concussion protocol and running back Joe Mixon is listed as questionable against a Chiefs defense that is fifth in the league in least number of rushing yards given up at a clip of 100.6 yards per game. Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is also on the IR so unless any of these running backs come off the injured list it could be a matter of which team performs better through the air. Colts @ Cowboys
With Ezekiel Elliot back from injury the Cowboys are gonna have to figure out the balance between him and running back Tony Pollard in terms of who gets the ball more as past are considered dominant offensive options for the Cowboys. As for the Colts Sam Ehlinger will still have to continue to prove his worth.

Saints @ Bucs
With Tampa Bay’s Leonard Fournette still ruled as being out along with Tampa Bay wide receiver Russell Gage, Tom Brady will have to make the most with what he has although he has proven in the past that hasn’t been an issue with him. As for the Saints, if they can get Alvin Kamara going that could keep Tom Brady off the field for a while, something which never hurts when you’re trying to beat him. Our Pick: Bucs
