Cincinnati Bengals (1-3) at Arizona Cardinals (1-3) 4:05p (ET)
This is a matchup between two of the most surprising teams in the league so far this season, but for completely different reasons. Cincinnati suffered a terrible loss at Tennessee and this offense looks lost as Joe Burrow battles through a calf injury. They are averaging 12.3 points per game, last in the league through four weeks. The Cardinals were expected to tank and compete for the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, but they have played well above expectations. Arizona QB Joshua Dobbs has not thrown an interception yet this season, and despite the loss to San Francisco in Week 4, the Cardinals were coming off a huge upset over Dallas a week earlier. Moreover, this team was very competitive in losses to the Commanders and the Giants. It’s definitely now-or-never time for Joe Burrow and the Bengals, but this is far from being the get-well game it appears to be. Cincinnati should edge out the Cardinals for a win on the road, but Dobbs and company will make this a highly competitive affair.
Final Score: Bengals – 24, Cardinals – 20
Philadelphia Eagles (4-0) at Los Angeles Rams (2-2) 4:05p (ET)
In Week 4, the Eagles looked a little bit more vulnerable than anyone probably expected coming into this season, as they got taken to the wire by the Washington Commanders. The Los Angeles Rams also had an overtime win when they beat Indianapolis 29-23. This Rams team, at times, has looked like they’re back to playoff contending form, but at other times, they look like a really young, inexperienced team missing a couple of pieces. The Rams need to protect Matthew Stafford, who’s dealing with a hip injury after last week’s win against the Colts. And we know the Eagles have the pass rush to get the job done, which could be the biggest key in this matchup going in Philly’s favor. Expect the Eagles to lean on their defensive stars to get the upper hand. Jalen Hurts will take care of the rest at SoFi Stadium. He will keep feeding D’Andre Swift in the running game and A.J. Brown in the air to keep the Eagles undefeated.
Final Score: Eagles – 30, Rams – 23
New York Jets (1-3) at Denver Broncos (1-3) 4:25p (ET)
The New York Jets nearly pulled off an upset against the reigning Super Bowl Champions on Sunday night, but just couldn’t make enough plays in crunch time. The most surprising aspect of that game was the performance of Jets QB Zach Wilson. Wilson completed 28-of-39 passes with two touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 105.2 QB rating! The Broncos aren’t doing anything well enough defensively, and they aren’t even correcting their mistakes, as they have given up over 1,200 yards of offense in the last two weeks. Offensively, however, they have been much better than they were last season. Russell Wilson, in particular, has been very impressive. He has nine TDs in four games this year, and only Vikings QB Kirk Cousins (11) has more. After going down to the wire against the Chiefs, expect Zach Wilson and the Jets to struggle at Mile High Stadium.
Final Score: Jets – 21, Broncos – 24
