Baltimore Ravens (3-2) vs Tennessee Titans (2-3) (London) 9:30a (ET)
The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a hard-fought rivalry game on the road at Pittsburgh. They remain on the road this week, heading over the pond for a London game against the Tennessee Titans. At times, the Ravens have looked like a serious contender to win the AFC, but there are other times where they look very inconsistent, and very far from being the playoff-caliber team everyone expects them to be. These are two teams that know how to win lower-scoring games running the football, play tough on defense, and force turnovers. But the Titans defense was disappointing against the Colts. They gave up 429 yards (236 passing) and 21 first downs. The Titans were in position to win until late in that game however, and I think they can hang around against the Ravens as well. But ultimately, I see Baltimore winning this game.
Final Score: Ravens – 23, Titans – 20
Seattle Seahawks (3-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (2-3) 1:00p (ET)
Could the win against the Cardinals spark a run for the Bengals? While it was far from being perfect, Joe Burrow looked very comfortable as he and WR Ja’Marr Chase were able to establish some rhythm. The Seattle Seahawks make their return from an early bye week, and should be looking pretty good here, with the extra time of rest and preparation. In Week 4, the Seahawks kept the NY Giants in check, allowing just 3 points, 248 yards (136 passing), and collecting three takeaways. Offensively the team wasn’t great overall, posting just 110 passing yards and 13 first downs, but they were able to put up points in every quarter. It remains to be seen if the Bengals are really back to form, or if we should be expecting more of the struggles we saw in the first four weeks of the season. History doesn’t favor West Coast teams coming East and playing in the early slot. Let’s ride this Cincinnati Bengals wave for another week!
Final Score: Seahawks – 20, Bengals – 24
San Francisco 49ers (5-0) at Cleveland Browns (2-2) 1:00p (ET)
Following a stellar performance against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, the San Francisco 49ers are flying east to face the Cleveland Browns. QB Deshaun Watson was scratched leading up to game time against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, and there’s no telling if he is fully healthy and ready to go this week. The 49ers are a very complete team and they don’t seem to have any real weaknesses, and the only thing that might be able to slow them down a little bit is Myles Garrett and this excellent Browns’ defense. But while Cleveland’s defense has been very solid, it couldn’t slow down the Ravens and the 49ers are just a better unit overall. I’m not really sure that even the best defense in the NFL right now can keep up with this 49ers team, which is not only dynamic and productive offensively, but dominant and aggressive defensively. This could end up being hard-fought battle, at least for three quarters, but I see the 49ers winning this game and remaining undefeated.
Final Score: 49ers – 27, Browns – 20
Indianapolis Colts (3-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) 1:00p (ET)
The Indianapolis Colts will start former Jaguars’ QB Gardner Minshew in place of Anthony Richardson, after a shoulder injury knocked him out of the next few games. Minshew won some games for the Jags during his time in Jacksonville and he can put Indianapolis up in the AFC South with a win over his former team. The Jaguars are favorites in this game after winning back-to-back games in London, including Sunday’s surprising win over the Buffalo Bills. Jacksonville got a big game from RB Travis Etienne, who ran for 136 yards and two TDs, adding 48 yards on four catches as well. After playing well in their home away from home, don’t be surprised to see the Jags give their fans more reasons to be excited by winning this big divisional matchup. The Colts will put up a fight, but the Jaguars should come out victorious.
Final Score: Colts – 27, Jaguars – 30
